EduWillNeverWalkAlone is more than a walk — it’s a promise. A promise that Edu’s spirit, his laughter, and his fight will continue through every step we take together.

Edu was a force of nature. A friend who made everyone around him feel seen, a son who filled every room with warmth, and a fighter who faced his diagnosis with a courage that inspired everyone who knew him. He loved the forests of Montseny, where the oaks grow tall and the light filters through like hope itself.
Edu was diagnosed with a rare disease that affects fewer than 1 in 100,000 people. Because it’s so uncommon, research funding is scarce and treatments remain limited. Every euro we raise goes directly to funding research hours at leading institutions working to change that.
Every June, we gather at the foot of Montseny to walk the trails Edu loved most. It’s 7 kilometres through oak and beech forest — not a race, but a remembrance. Families, friends, and strangers walk side by side, sharing stories and silence in equal measure. After the walk, those who choose can share a meal together at the mountain refuge.
100% of the funds raised go to rare disease research. We partner with accredited research institutions and publish a full transparency report every year. Since our first walk, we have funded over 200 hours of dedicated research.
