EduWillNeverWalkAlone is more than a walk — it’s a legacy. When he died, Edu donated his body to science, for research. That is the seed of this Charity Walk: we want to keep pushing so that Minority Cancers receive care, treatment and greater survival.

Edu was a cheerful, sporty, hardworking young man with a normal life. He worked as a Surveyor in Sevenoaks, England. In December 2022, aged 32, he was diagnosed with Sub-Maxillary Salivary Gland Cancer with metastasis to the liver. He went through 3 operations, radiotherapy, several chemotherapy regimens taken to the highest tolerable toxicity, and joined 3 clinical trials. Nothing could stop the disease, and he passed away on 16 May 2025, aged 35.
Edu fought bravely against a cancer with almost no research and no targeted treatment. He never lost hope that science would find a cure. 16 May marks one year since his passing.
Walking by his side, we want to bring a little hope to others who find themselves where he was. We walk in tribute to Edu and to give meaning to his journey.
100% of funds raised go to research into Minority Cancers, with a focus on Head and Neck. We partner with accredited research institutions and publish a transparency report every year.
